In his Letter from Birmingham Jail, MLK lamented those “who prefer a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice.” This Sunday we explore peace & justice with regards to critical issues facing our communities.

This service will also include a new ritual, a backpack blessing, to commemorate the new school year. Bring your backpacks (or briefcases or bags) to be blessed as part of our service.
