The mission of the Outreach Team is to enrich Emerson’s membership and promote Emerson as a UU congregation, endorsing UU Shared Values in all our engagements and activities. The activities of the Outreach Team aim to build community relationships and advertise EUUC and Unitarian Universalism through meaningful engagement and collaboration.  We are building connections between Emerson and our larger community by posting information about local organizations and their activities, participating in their events, offering our church building as a meeting place, and collaborating with them on projects.  We actively promote Emerson UUC by collaborating with other Emerson groups, publicizing information about Emerson and Unitarian Universalism and helping publicize EUUC events open to the public.

• Social media campaigns:
  • “We Heart the 818” – calendar of events in our neighborhood/SFV
  • “Meet Our Neighbors” – introduces a business, organization, or individual providing something to our community
• SFV Pride March on June 29, 2024: marching as an organization
